Emily qualified in Acupuncture & Naturopathy from the College of Naturopathic Medicine and is a full practicing member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), the UK’s foremost regulatory body, and abides by its Codes of Ethics and Safe Practice. As well as treating clients, Emily also works in the teaching clinic at the City College of Acupuncture assisting in Acupuncture Point Location and Practical Techniques lectures.
Emily has always believed in treating every client uniquely and holistically. Focus is placed on each individual rather than just the label of their condition, to determine the best treatment plan. She has treated patients presenting with a wide range of conditions including: muscular skeletal injuries & pain; gynecological problems & fertility issues; stress & anxiety; digestive problems; headaches & migraines; tinnitus and insomnia.
Emily was first introduced to acupuncture after a bad neck injury early on into her previous career as a professional dancer in the commercial television and theatre industry. She was amazed at not only how much it helped with her recovery and pain management, but discovered how much it supported and benefitted other issues that she was suffering from; including stress & anxiety, sleeping problems, and hormonal issues, due to the holistic approach of this treatment.
All practitioners at the Light Centre are self-employed. When making bookings, customers are contracting with them directly and not with the Centre. As a result, practitioners manage their own diaries, so please book with them directly.
