Jackie has a Masters in Osteopathy from the University College of Osteopathy, and has been a bodyworker since 2007. She believes that good health is for every body, at every stage of life.
Athletic from a young age, Jackie’s background in dance, gymnastics and fitness affords her insight and interest in treating athletes. She is currently an avid Crossfitter, Olympic weightlifter, and has had a strong yoga practice for more than a decade.
Her areas of interest include postural dysfunction, women’s health, sportspeople and post-surgery support. Jackie specialises in identifying and addressing poor movement patterns due to imbalances in neuromuscular activation and recruitment, which often manifest as pain.
Jackie treats the body as whole, using a combination of manual techniques, education and corrective exercises. She is interested in addressing the root causes of complaint, not just the symptoms.
